The mission of the Assessment Department is to gather, analyze
and disseminate data pertinent to the district's mission and goals.
This department plans and coordinates the district's testing
program, assists with the development of program evaluation
strategies, analyzes district level test results, helps with the
development of school improvement plans, and produces the
district's Annual Progress Report.
The following assessments are used each year by the district to
help measure the academic growth of students in our schools. The
Assessment Department is directly involved with the administration
of the following tests and the analysis of the results.
- Iowa Test of Basic Skills (Grades 3 - 8)
- Iowa Test of Educational Development (Grades 9 & 11)
- Northwest Evaluation Association Level Tests (Grades 3 -10)
